Welcome to the Terms & Conditions of Amazing Swiss Tours and Homestay.
Please read our "general terms and conditions" carefully, which apply to our services, accommodation and tours with "Amazing Swiss Tours and Homestay". Soon we will publish a version in Thai as well. If there should be any differences between the English and the Thai version, the English version shall prevail.
For easy readable "Amazing Swiss Tours and Homestay" will hereafter be named "AST".
"AST" offer you accommodation (homestay) in our large home and organizes and operates daily private tours through parts of Switzerland. Customers also have the possibility to book accommodation only.
Actual details about our tours, services, facilities and amenities you will find on our website "amazingswisstours.com". What all is included in our prices/rates you will find in the following chapters.
Once "AST" has accepted the customer's booking request and confirmed the reservation, the travel and accommodation agreement between the customer and "AST" is concluded. Customer and "AST" are bound to the rights and duties of this agreement from then onwards.
If one customer has signed up for other participants, the customer is liable to fulfill their obligations as well and these general terms and conditions apply to each participant. With the payment of the deposit for the reservation, the customer has accepted these "general terms and conditions".
"AST" is using Swiss public transportation facilities such as Trains, Cable Cars, etc. and as well as a private Mini bus for comfortable travelling and connection to the Swiss public transportation facilities. "AST" cannot be held responsible for trip alterations due to any delay by or any disruption of the public transport system. In any such case compensation is excluded.
The customer is responsible for his/her travel to Switzerland, that their passport is valid for the planned journey and that the customer has applied for the needed Schengen Tourist Visa in time. The customer is responsible as well for the compliance with visa, customs, foreign exchange, compulsory international health insurance and health regulation and need to carry all necessary travel documents with them. All penalties or disadvantages as a result of disobeying regulations are at the expense of the customer only and AST cannot be held responsible for it.
What is included within the rates for "Guided Tours and Homestay" (accommodation together with daily tours) are as following:

The rates "Accommodation only" are based on a Bed & Breakfast principle and include only the accommodation and daily breakfast during your stay. Additional services like pick-up from Airport Zurich-Kloten or shuttle service to ski facilities are subjects of separate offers according customer needs and wishes.
All rates and prices are in Swiss Franc (CHF), strictly net and payable to the bank account stated on our invoices. A deposit payment of approximately 20% of the total amount is mandatory for the acceptance of the customer's booking. The final payment has to be on "AST" bank account not later than 30 days prior the arrival date.
Switzerland has high price stability. However there might be special cases, which "AST" may be forced to raise the fixed tour price due to external reasons such as:
In any such case "AST" will notify the customer immediately about any price change.
If you are not able to uphold your tour booking and accommodation reservation, "AST" will refund your payments according the conditions and restrictions listed below:
If a customer needs to cancel their tour booking and/or accommodation reservation, "AST" will need a written statement send to our email-address info@amazingswisstours.com. Please notice that "AST" only accept cancellations which are send to the above email-address.
Please note that all refunds are made by bank transfer in Swiss Franc (CHF) to your preferred bank account only.
"AST" will at least deduct the bank money transfer fee of CHF 5.00 per transaction from the refund amount. Other deduction conditions are stated in the following sections.
Please note that the refund amount in THB received on your own bank account may differ from the amount in THB, which you transferred originally to "AST". There might be additional fees of your bank as well.
If your Visa application was rejected and you have send the official statement of the Embassy which refused the visa to "AST" email-address mentioned in paragraph 8.1, "AST" will reimburse all your already made payments, less any deduction mentioned in the previous paragraphs above.
This paragraph applies only for "accommodation and tours" bookings, because "AST" will organize and purchase transportation tickets for the daily tours and therefore the refund will be calculated individually.
If a customer needs to cancel their accommodation reservation and/or tour booking due to any personal reasons like illness, accident or important family matters, already made payments will be refund by "AST" as follows:
